Unfinished Furniture Coalition
After listening to Samantha Kurtz at the last year's UFA education
day seminar, Co ncept
Design Group has launched a professionally executed national
advertising program promoting unfinished furniture
and the concepts of personal expression, creativity, real wood,
customizing options and fabulous
value. Stop the "hurry up and buy it before we burn it" approach,
and start promoting the tremendous value of customization.
Unfinished Furniture is an incredible bargain for the American
consumer. The objective of
the coalition is to
improve in-store sales and change public perception of unfinished
furniture, demonstrating credibility, diversity and value. The costs
of the program will be shared by the coalition of store owners. We
propose an initial program to be executed over a two to three
year period, with a modern consistent theme using a marketing mix of
print, web and in-store media. If this is successful, then
additional “phases” could be added to the program for direct mail ,
idea books and television ads.
With the assistance
of General Finishes, we purchased, finished, stored, accessorized,
and photographed a selection of John Greenleaf and Archbold
furniture to create professional images for your store's
promotional purposes. If there is enough interest, we will add
